Force Majeure – Amarillo Station – Unit #1
El Paso Natural Gas Company, L.L.C. (EPNG) has experienced a failure of the Amarillo Compressor Station Unit #1 located in Randall County, Texas. As a result, Unit #1 is unavailable. Unit #2 also remains out of service under an ongoing Force Majeure repair (see Critical Notice No. 626548), resulting in a full station outage.
Accordingly, the operational capacity through the AMAR N constraint will be limited to 200,000 dekatherms per day (Dth/d) effective on March 31, 2026, Timely Cycle, (Cycle 1). The operational capacity through the AMAR S constraint will be limited to 210,000 dekatherms per day (Dth/d) effective on March 31, 2026, Timely Cycle, (Cycle 1). EPNG will be posting an updated maintenance notice to reflect the total impact through the AMAR N and AMAR S constraints.
EPNG will provide updates as more information becomes available.
This incident constitutes an event of Force Majeure under Section 11.3 of the General Terms and Conditions of EPNG's FERC Gas Tariff.
