Line 2000 and Line 20118 Hydrotest and Pipeline Maintenance – Wenden to Ehrenberg
El Paso Natural Gas Company, L.L.C. (EPNG) will be performing a PHMSA required class change on Line 2000 and Line 20118 in the Ehrenberg area. The class change will require isolation and hydrotesting of the lines between Wenden and Ehrenberg beginning on Gas Day 9/16/2025, (Reference Critical Notice No. 625886). The class change pipeline maintenance is anticipated to have a duration of four to six weeks.
Beginning on Gas Day 9/16/2025, the following scheduling constraints will be limited to these net capacities:
WENDWST: 655,305 dekatherms per day (Dth/d)
EHRENBRG: 657,550 dekatherms per day (Dth/d)
Additionally, during this maintenance, Line 1903 will not be able to deliver to the South Mainline of the EPNG system. As such, a new segment constraint (CADEHR) will posted at the end of segment 3060, set to 0 dekatherms per day (Dth/d) capacity to limit flow from Line 1903 to the South Mainline.
The following delivery volumes will be sourced through the EHRENBRG constraint with a combined limit of 657,550 dekatherms per day (Dth/d):
DSCALEHR (301016)
IBLYTHE (314980)
The INORBAJA (301693) location will be isolated to Line 1903 and sourced exclusively from Line 1903. As this location will be sourced directly from Line 1903, it will not be subject to the new CADEHR constraint. The Line 1903 CADIZSOU capacity 511,000 dekatherms per day (Dth/d).
Shippers are encouraged to continue using their primary path entitlements to schedule deliveries, as the pipeline will optimize the re-routing of gas as much as possible to accommodate firm primary priority transactions. However, as North Baja will be unable to receive flow from the South Mainline, Permian receipts to North Baja may be very limited. Alternate sources of supply from outside the Permian to North Baja are recommended. Please refer to the September Maintenance Posting for specific dates.
