Force Majeure – Caprock Station – Update #1
El Paso Natural Gas Company, L.L.C. (EPNG) has resolved the equipment failure associated with its Caprock Compressor Station Unit #1 located in Lea County, New Mexico. Caprock Compressor Station Unit #2 remains unavailable.
The operational capacity through the CAPROCK N constraint will be increased by 68,342 dekatherms (Dth/d) per day with a net capacity limit of 442,777 dekatherms (Dth/d) per day. This operational capacity increase will be effective on November 7, 2024, Evening Cycle, (Cycle 2). EPNG will be posting an updated maintenance notice to reflect the total impact through the CAPROCK N constraint.
EPNG will provide updates as more information becomes available.
This incident constitutes an event of Force Majeure under Section 11.3 of the General Terms and Conditions of EPNG's FERC Gas Tariff.
