Initial Force Majeure – Caprock Station – Unit #2

 

El Paso Natural Gas Company, L.L.C. (EPNG) has experienced an equipment failure associated with its Caprock Compressor Station Unit #2 and as such the unit is currently unavailable. Accordingly, the operational capacity through the CAPROCK N constraint will be reduced by 59,382 dekatherms (Dth/d) per day effective on September 12, 2023, Timely Cycle (Cycle 1). EPNG will be posting an updated maintenance notice to reflect the total impact through the CAPROCK N constraint.

 

EPNG will provide updates as more information becomes available.

 

This incident constitutes an event of Force Majeure under Section 11.3 of the General Terms and Conditions of EPNG's FERC Gas Tariff.
