Force Majeure – Line 2000 – Update #2

El Paso Natural Gas Company, L.L.C. ("EPNG") is providing this update to the Force Majeure notice posted August 15, 2021, and subsequently updated on August 24, 2021 (reference Critical Notice No. 612627 and 612712) associated with the pipeline failure on Line 2000 near the town of Coolidge, Arizona. The pipeline failure remains under NTSB investigation and as a result, EPNG does not have a timeframe for bringing the Line 2000 back to full service.  Updates will be provided approximately every two weeks unless additional information becomes available.

The following scheduling constraints remain at zero (0) dekatherms (Dth) per day:

Finally, EPNG remains under a reduced operating pressure on the entire Line 2000 system, which in effect removes the Line 2000 system from service from Black River compressor station to the California border. Any specific questions related to operationally available capacity or unsubscribed capacity along this path should be directed to your marketing representative.

These reductions in operational capacity will remain in effect until further notice. EPNG will provide updates as more information becomes available.

This incident constitutes an event of force majeure under EPNG's FERC Gas Tariff, General Terms and Conditions, Section 11.3.
