Initial Force Majeure – Waha Station – Electric Unit

 

El Paso Natural Gas Company, L.L.C. (EPNG) has experienced an equipment failure associated with its electric unit at the Waha Station and as such the unit is currently unavailable. Accordingly, the operational capacity through the WAHA GE constraint will be further reduced by 336,000 dekatherms (Dth/d) per day effective September 1, 2021, Timely Cycle (Cycle 1).  EPNG will be posting an updated maintenance notice to reflect the total impact through WAHA GE constraint.

 

EPNG will provide updates as more information becomes available.

 

This incident constitutes an event of Force Majeure under Section 11.3 of the General Terms and Conditions of EPNG's FERC Gas Tariff.
