Force Majeure – Line 2000 – Update #1
El Paso Natural Gas Company, L.L.C. ("EPNG") is providing this update to the Force Majeure notice posted August 15, 2021, (reference Critical Notice No. 612627) associated with the pipeline failure on Line 2000 near the town of Coolidge, Arizona. EPNG will be reducing the operating pressure on the entire Line 2000 system. As a result, the following scheduling reductions will be made to the constraints associated with Line 2000.
The following scheduling constraints will be reduced to zero (0) dekatherms (Dth) per day effective Gas Day August 26, 2021, Timely Cycle (Cycle 1):

§ CIMARRON
The following scheduling constraints will be reduced as stated below effective Gas Day August 26, 2021, Timely Cycle (Cycle 1):
§ L2KWNKBH will be reduced by 136,421 dekatherms (Dth) per day
§ WNKEAST will be reduced by 79,534 dekatherms (Dth) per day
§ L2KWAHA will be reduced by 52,500 dekatherms (Dth) per day
§ GILA will be reduced by 371,565 dekatherms (Dth) per day
§ WENDEN will be reduced by 478,750 dekatherms (Dth) per day
§ EHRENBRG will be reduced by 478,750 dekatherms (Dth) per day
§ HAVASU E will be reduced by 163,000 dekatherms (Dth) per day
EPNG will be posting an updated maintenance notice reflecting the net capacity through all of these constraints taking into account the impacts shown above. These reductions in operational capacity will remain in effect until further notice. EPNG will provide updates as more information becomes available.
This incident constitutes an event of force majeure under EPNG's FERC Gas Tariff, General Terms and Conditions, Section 11.3.
