Force Majeure - Line 1103 Carlsbad Area
El Paso Natural Gas Company, L.L.C. ("EPNG") is providing this update to the Force Majeure notice posted Thursday, January 28, 2021, (reference Critical Notice(s) No. 610645), associated with its Line 1103 anomaly, downstream of the Guadalupe Compressor Station.
The assessment and remediation of the anomaly is ongoing but proceeding at a slower pace than anticipated. As such the capacity reductions through the CORN LPW and GUADLUP constraints associated with this Force Majeure will be extended through the weekend with the work anticipated to be complete by Gas Day February 2, 2021. The net effect of this update to the Force Majeure event will be reflected in an updated maintenance notice posted contemporaneously with this notice.
EPNG will provide updates as more information becomes available.
This incident constitutes an event of force majeure under EPNG's FERC Gas, General Terms and Conditions, Section 11.3.
