Winter Weather Alert
The National Weather Service has issued severe weather alerts for HIGH WIND WATCH and a WINTER STORM WATCH for some portions of Wyoming Interstate Company, L.L.C. (WIC) production and service areas beginning this evening Monday, March 3, 2025. Forecasts indicating high winds combined with heavy moisture have WIC preparing for potential weather-related supply shortfalls on its system which will limit its ability to manage imbalances. Therefore, when necessary to minimize imbalances and protect system integrity, underperformance caps may be placed on nonperforming receipt points effective the next available nomination cycle. Furthermore, imbalances at receipt and/or delivery points may necessitate rapid escalation to additional measures such as Operational Flow Orders (OFOs) outlined in GT&C Section 11.1 of WIC's FERC Gas Tariff.
Please monitor the weather forecast to assist you in matching supply nominations to the anticipated demand.
