FORCE MAJEURE AT STA 542 EFFECTIVE 8-4-2026
In accordance with Article XII of Tennessee Gas Pipeline Company, LLC's (“Tennessee”) FERC Gas Tariff, Tennessee is posting notice of a Force Majeure event at STA 542 near DeKalb, Mississippi. Tennessee has discovered an issue with Unit 1 requiring immediate repairs. Tennessee also posted notice of an Emergent Repair at STA 542 at Unit 3 (Notice Identifier #400233) on March 27, 2026 and posted notice of an Emergent Repair at Unit 2 (Notice Identifier #400471) on April 7, 2026. Currently, Unit 2 and Unit 3 remain out of service due to ongoing repairs. As such, effective immediately for today's Gas Day, Tuesday, August 4, 2026 and until further notice, Tennessee is declaring a Force Majeure event at the station. Tennessee now estimates the current impact to be up to 280,000 Dths. Based upon current nominations, Primary In the Path nominations pathed through STA 542 (Segment 539 BH) may be at risk as early as Timely Cycle for the Gas Day of Wednesday, August 5, 2026. Previously scheduled nominations will not be curtailed; however, increases in all services pathed through STA 542 (Segment 539 BH) for the remainder of today's gas day, Tuesday, August 4, 2026 will be at risk.
