EXCESSIVE HOURLY TAKES WARNING EXPANDED TO SYSTEM WIDE EFFECTIVE 1-23-2026
Due to forecasted colder weather with anticipated greater demand moving across Tennessee's entire system, effective for the Gas Day of Friday, January 23, 2026, and until further notice, Tennessee Gas Pipeline, LLC (“Tennessee”) has limited operational flexibility to manage excessive hourly imbalance over-takes System Wide.
Tennessee requires your compliance with this notice to avoid the necessity of taking further actions including utilizing contract or meter specific Operational Flow Orders, Hourly Operational Flow Orders or flow control to maintain operational integrity.
THIS EXCESS HOURLY TAKES WARNING WILL REMAIN IN EFFECT UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE.
TENNESSEE WILL INFORM CUSTOMERS BY EBB WHEN THIS EXCESS HOURLY TAKES WARNING WILL BE LIFTED.
Tennessee would like to remind all operators/agents of power plants directly connected to TGP of certain parameters of FERC Order 698 requirements. Tennessee requires that all power plant operators submit burn profiles and nominations prior to gas flow. Due to very limited flexibility, power plant operators are encouraged to burn ratably based on scheduled volumes in order to avoid the necessity of taking further actions. The burn profiles should be sent to TGPGasControl@Kindermorgan.com. The latest burn profile template can be found by accessing the Tennessee web site and following the steps below.
