REVISON 

On October 23, 2024, Southern Natural Gas Company, L.L.C. (“SNG”) posted notice #7099966 for the fuel retention update effective October 2, 2024.  This posting is to correct a typographical error for the Intrazone (0-0). SNG initially posted the Intrazone (0-0) rate as 1.62%. The corrected rate is 2.59%.  Below is a summary listing of the corrected fuel retention rates.   

1.      Transportation Fuel Retention

Transportation fuel is retained on receipts based on the zone of delivery for the gas except for those receipt to delivery combinations that qualify for intra zone fuel or backhaul fuel.  The approved transportation fuel retention percentages are as follows effective October 2, 2024  – March 31, 2025 :

Additionally, SNG has applied the new fuel retention percentages from October 2, 2024 through gas day October 24, 2024. Imbalances in Dart are now inclusive of these fuel updates and are available for viewing in Dart. Customers can nominate payback through the end of the month subject to any posted operational conditions.

 In the upcoming days, SNG will reallocate fuel for the Intrazone 0 rate to all nominations commencing with the Timely Cycle for Gas Day October 25, 2024 through October 31, 2024.  

Any remaining balances on contracts for the month of October will be cashed out in accordance with Southern's cash out process.
