Muldon Storage Shut-in Test
Southern is posting the following information to provide customers with additional operational data to assist in planning your business for the upcoming week. As previously posted in the weekly EBB postings, the Muldon Fall shut-in test will begin Tuesday, October 1st, 2024, and continue to 9 A.M. on Monday, October 7th, 2024.
As a result of the shut-in test, Southern has reduced injection abilities during this work. Southern is not currently accepting ISS injections and if storage demand exceeds Southern's injection abilities, restrictions will be made into CSS, not to exceed a reduction to each CSS customers account of more than thirty six percent (36%) of their currently effective DIQ and DWQ.
Based on current supplies and anticipated demand, we expect storage injection requirements to be near Southern's maximum storage injection capabilities. We request that all Shippers/Poolers monitor the balance between actual receipts and deliveries to ensure that a daily out-of-balance situation does not occur. Southern's Tariff provides that a Type 6 OFO CAN BE IMPLEMENTED ON FOUR HOURS NOTICE OR LESS depending on the situation. Please call your Account Manager or Scheduling Representative if you have questions. Thank you in advance for your cooperation.
