To All Southern Natural Gas Company Shippers

RE: Award of Firm Transportation (FT)/Expansion Capacity


On August 13, 2021, Southern Natural Gas Company, L.L.C. ("SNG”) announced an open season to solicit binding bids for firm transportation service ("FT") for expansion capacity on the SNG pipeline system from the following receipt points Short Creek receipt pin 646090, Short Creek #2 receipt pin 646120, Oak Grove Bayview receipt pin 646020 to various delivery locations along SNG's North Main Lines West of Birmingham Alabama.

This open season was subject to a prearranged bid for a portion of the SNG incremental capacity.

The open season ended on August 27, 2021

Pursuant to the terms of Section 2.1(b) of the General Terms and Conditions of the Southern Natural Tariff, Southern is required to post the winning bid(s) within 24 hours of awarding the capacity.

 

 

Winning Bid(s):

 

Shipper 1

Volume – 5,000 Dth/day)

Term – 12 years

Rate – Negotiated rate equal to the current maximum applicable zone 2 tariff rate

 

Note: 

 

To increase its NPV, the Winning Shipper also bid and was awarded 1,754 dth/day of supplemental capacity that was available from it interconnection with Transco in Zone 3 (receipt pin 50069, Transco/SNG Fairburn to SNG Fayette) and delivery pins in Zone 2 West of Birmingham Alabama at the current maximum Zone 2 tariff rate for the period September 1, 2021 through August 31, 2028.
