Subject: SNG Settlement Rates

On July 11, 2018, Southern Natural Gas Company, L.L.C. (SNG) filed revised Tariff rates to implement lower rates effective September 1, 2018, pursuant to the terms of its Rate Case Settlement approved by the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) on May 30, 2018, in Docket No. RP18-556. The Rate Case Settlement provided, among other things, that SNG's current systemwide rates would be reduced by approximately one percent (1%) effective September 1, 2018, and by another seven percent (7%) effective September 1, 2019. On August 3, 2018, the FERC accepted SNG's filing to implement the lower rates for September 1, 2018. Below are links to a revised September 2018 Rate Card for your convenience, as well as a spreadsheet showing a comparison of the Current Tariff Rates, the Settlement Rates for September 2018 and September 2019, and Contesting Party Rates.
