SEGMENT 200 – MEP 4 – STATION MAINTENANCE
MEP will be performing station maintenance on unit #4 at its MEP 4 Vicksburg station in Zone 2 (Segment 200 in Madison Parish, Louisiana). This work will require MEP to restrict throughput capacity in Zone 2 of its system.
As such, effective for gas day Tuesday, December 6, 2022, Timely Cycle, and continuing through gas day Friday, December 9, 2022, MEP will schedule Primary Firm and Secondary-in-path Firm transports to no less than 97% of contract MDQ into Segment 200, assuming all such contracts are nominated at full applicable contract MDQ through the constrained segment. Actual nomination levels and changes in pipeline conditions could result in an increase to the percentage scheduled.
AOR/ITS and Secondary out-of-path Firm transports will not be available during this outage. Additionally, all park and loan services under Rate Schedule PALS will not be available anywhere on the system.
Reservation Charge Credits: To the extent MEP cannot schedule a shipper's Firm Daily Volume as a result of this outage, and shipper does not utilize secondary point services, MEP will calculate a reservation charge credit. Section 2.2(d)(1) of the GT&C of MEP's Tariff defines Firm Daily Volume as “the volume of gas which MEP is obligated to deliver on a firm basis for Shipper at primary Delivery Point(s) under a firm contract on a Day, based on nominations for firm service within firm contract rights at such primary points which could be confirmed.” To the extent a Firm shipper nominates to its primary firm delivery point, and there is a matching downstream nomination at the location, then if MEP cannot schedule the nomination, a reservation charge credit will apply for such unscheduled volume.
