Simultaneous Injections and Withdrawals
As posted in notice 118217 (September 26, 2018) and revised in various notices, most recently in notice 119271 (April 13, 2020), Kinder Morgan Keystone Gas Storage LLC (“KGS”) will continue to restrict simultaneous injections and withdrawals until further notice. Pursuant to Section 6.3 of the KGS Operating Statement, a Customer's Nominations for Firm and Interruptible service under a Confirmation that simultaneously inject and withdraw will be allowed only when that would result in nominations at interconnecting points being a net injection at each and every point or being a net withdrawal at each and every point.
New Nominations in a cycle in which an impermissible simultaneous injection and withdrawal would occur (e.g., where new Nominations would result in a Customer net injecting at any one point while simultaneously withdrawing at any other point) will be reduced to zero. In situations where transactions are impacted by EPSQ of the interconnecting pipelines, KGS will hold to those pipelines' EPSQ values when new injections or withdrawals are entered in later cycles.
