Force Majeure – Line 1300 – Caprock to Roswell – Update #2
El Paso Natural Gas Company, L.L.C. (EPNG) is delaying the Line 1300 anomaly repairs that were scheduled to start on January 31, 2023, due to cold weather concerns in the Permian Basin (Reference Critical Notice No: 617211). The anomaly repairs will now be scheduled February 3, 2023, through February 6, 2023. The repairs will still require a lower pressure restriction for excavation and a further reduction in operational capacity.
Accordingly, the operational capacity through CAPROCK N will be reinstated to a constraint reduction of 100,549 dekatherms per day (Dth/d) until February 3, 2023, at which time the reduction will be reduced an additional 61,095 dekatherms per day (Dth/d).
EPNG will post an updated maintenance notice to reflect the total impact through the CAPROCK N constraint. This reduction in operational capacity will remain in effect until further notice.
This incident constitutes an event of Force Majeure under Section 11.3 of the General Terms and Conditions of EPNG's FERC Gas Tariff.
