Force Majeure Update – CIG Line 5A- Segment 218 (CYSC) & Segment 218 (WTNC) – Watkins to Cheyenne

Colorado Interstate Gas Company, L.L.C. (CIG) has identified anomalies on Line 5A between Watkins and Cheyenne in Weld County, Colorado, which impacts the safety and integrity of the pipeline, and which requires immediate attention. The repairs will require pressure restriction, isolation, and a corresponding reduction in operational capacity.

Accordingly, operating capacities in the area will be impacted as follows effective for the Intraday 1 Cycle gas day 9/14/2026 and the Timely Cycle gas day 9/15/2026 and until further notice:

·         Segment 218 (CYSC) Cheyenne South constraint will be reduced from 633,000 Dth/d to 540,000 Dth/d in the TD1 direction and reduced from 555,000 Dth/d to 460,000 Dth/d in the TD2 direction.  

·         Segment 218 (WTNC) Watkins North constraint will be reduced from 633,000 Dth/d to 540,000 Dth/d in the TD1 direction.

CIG will be posting an updated maintenance notice to reflect the total impact through Segment 218 (CYSC) Cheyenne South constraint and Segment 218 (WTNC) Watkins North constraint.

CIG will provide updates as more information becomes available.

This incident constitutes an event of Force Majeure pursuant to General Terms and Conditions, Section 11.5 of CIG's FERC Gas Tariff Second Revised Volume No. 1.
