CIG - Young Storage Field Force Majeure

Colorado Interstate Gas Company, L.L.C. (CIG) uses the Young Gas Storage Company, Ltd. (YGS) storage field to provide firm and interruptible transportation and storage services under Rate Schedules TSB-Y, FS-Y and IS-Y.

On June 12, 2025, YGS declared a force majeure as described in its Notice No. 122438 resulting in the storage field being unavailable for withdrawals for all services effective immediately until further notice. Therefore, for the reasons stated in YGS force majeure and in this notice, CIG is declaring a Force Majeure pursuant to Section 11.5 of the General Terms and Conditions of the Second Revised Volume No. 1 of CIGS's FERC Gas Tariff. Effective immediately until further notice CIG is limiting withdrawal to 0 MDth/d for firm and interruptible services under its Rate Schedules TSB-Y, FS-Y and IS-Y. CIG will update this posting as needed when more information is available.
