Purpose

An Out of Cycle Nomination is any request to change a nomination after the ID3 nomination deadline has passed. Out of Cycle Nomination changes are not intended as a replacement for accurate and timely nominations.

 

Procedures

·         Requests must be made and approved prior to 9:00 AM CCT and should be made as soon as the need for a change is recognized. The request must be in good faith effort to true up before the gas day ends.

·         Out of Cycle Nomination requests must be submitted to the following:

o   Darren_LaPoint@kindermorgan.com; Gas Control Lead

o   Donny_Standfield@kindermorgan.com; Gas Control Lead

o   Tracy_Minter@kindermorgan.com; Scheduling Manager

o   SNGcsSchedulers2@kindermorgan.com; Scheduling group mailbox

·         Email should clearly state all proposed changes to effective date, meters, volumes, contracts, and counterparties.

·         All affected counterparties should be copied on the email requesting their approval.

·         Batch must be entered into DART and should ONLY include the meters that are impacted.

·         Once all affected parties approve the Out of Cycle Nomination request, SNG will review the request and either approve or deny it via email based on the below list of acceptable and not acceptable reasons.

 

List of acceptable and unacceptable reasons when submitting request

ONLY requests with acceptable reasons, as listed below will be reviewed by Scheduling for approval and processing. Once we receive counterparty approvals and related retro requests via email, Scheduling will review.

           Acceptable

·         Adjusting volumes to match physical flow

·         Operational issues outside of the user’s control (freeze offs, FMJ on other systems, emergent maintenance, etc.)

           NOT Acceptable

·         Customer data entry errors or confirming-party discrepancies

·         Penalty-avoidance requests, unnominated new business, or negatively impacting an imbalance

SNG Reserves the Right to Reject

·         Requests that are administratively burdensome, such as those that will affect multiple pooling contracts or multiple Buy/Sell transactions
