EMERGENT REPAIR ON THE 800 LINE BETWEEN STA 87 AND 860 EFFECTIVE 10-27-2022
Pursuant to Article XII of the General Terms and Conditions of Tennessee's FERC Gas Tariff, Tennessee is posting notice of an emergent repair issue on the 800 line between Sta. 87 and Sta. 860. The investigation and planning for the pipeline repairs are underway. Effective October 27, 2022 Tennessee's 800 line between Sta. 87 and Sta. 860 will be operating at reduced pressures until further notice.
Tennessee posts an estimated available capacity at key points along the pipeline system. The posted capacity can change due to changes in nominations, confirmations, system balancing, and the operational integrity of the system. Based on current nominations, Secondary In the Path nominations pathed through Station 860 North (Segment 860 BH) are at risk as early as Timely Cycle for the Gas Day of Friday, October 28, 2022. Tennessee is estimating the current impact to be up to an additional 250,000 Dths. Along with ongoing scheduled maintenance in the segment area for volumes flowing south into the 800 and 500 lines through Sta. 860 North (Segment 860 BH), total impacted volume could be up to 650,000 Dths. Previously scheduled volumes will not be curtailed for the current gas day of October 27, 2022; however, increases pathed through Sta. 860 North (Segment 860 BH) for the remainder of today's gas day are at risk.
Tennessee remains focused on returning the segment to normal operating conditions. Tennessee will provide additional updates as more information becomes available.
