FORCE MAJEURE AT MLV 309 TO MLV 310 ON LINE 1 EFFECTIVE 7-13-2022 UPDATE #3
Pursuant to Article XII of the General Terms and Conditions of Tennessee's FERC Gas Tariff, Tennessee posted notice of a Force Majeure event between MLV 309 to MLV 310 on Line 1 near Clermont, PA in McKean County effective on July 13, 2022, and until further notice (Notice Identifier #383566). Evaluations are still in progress for the emergent repair between MLV 309 and 310. Line 1 from Station 307 to Station 313 has now been returned to service under a pressure restriction. The pressure restriction will remain in effect pending further results of the evaluations. Based on current demand to date, only Secondary Out of the Path nominations pathed through Segment 307 BH have been impacted.
Tennessee posts available capacity at key points along the pipeline system. The posting states the capacity can change due to changes in nominations, confirmations, system balancing, and the operational integrity of the system. Based on current operating conditions with the pressure restriction on Line 1, the available capacity at Station 307 (Segment 307 BH) and Station 313 West (Segment 307 BH) will remain reduced. However, the reduction to estimated available capacity to the West of Station 313 and West of Station 307 will now be reduced up to 130.0 MMcf. The available capacity posting will take into account current operating conditions as well as the pressure restriction on Line 1 for this area of the Tennessee system. Based on current nominations pathed through Station 313 West (Segment 307 BH) as well as Station 307 (Segment 307 BH), Secondary Out of the Path nominations remain at risk.
Additionally, effective as early as the Gas Day of Tuesday, August 9, 2022, and until further notice, the NFGMIDCL TGP Clermont #2 Meter (Pin #47743) will be limited to a maximum meter capacity of approximately 275.0 MDTH due to the operational configuration necessary to maximize flows from Sta. 313 to Sta. 307.
Tennessee apologizes for any inconvenience to its customers to the extent any service restrictions are required during this unplanned outage. Tennessee remains focused on returning to normal operating conditions on these segments. Tennessee will provide additional updates as more information becomes available.
