FORCE MAJEURE AT MLV 309 TO MLV 310 ON LINE 1 EFFECTIVE 7-13-2022
Pursuant to Article XII of the General Terms and Conditions of Tennessee's FERC Gas Tariff, Tennessee is declaring a Force Majeure between MLV 309 to MLV 310 on Line 1 near Clermont, PA in McKean County effective immediately for today's gas day, July 13, 2022, and until further notice.
The investigation and planning for the pipeline repairs between MLV 309 and 310 is ongoing. Personnel are onsite and evaluating. Tennessee is developing plans to repair and return the pipe to service. Tennessee is estimating the current impact to be up to 330,000 Dths. Additionally, effective immediately, Tennessee's Line 1 from Station 313 to 219 will be operating at reduced pressures until further notice.
Tennessee posts an estimated available capacity at key points along the pipeline system. The posted capacity can change due to changes in nominations, confirmations, system balancing, and the operational integrity of the system. Based on current operating conditions, the estimated available capacity at Segment 307 BH will be reduced. This reduction in capacity may impact In the Path services depending on nominations and demand. Based on current nominations, restrictions through a pro rata portion of Primary In the Path nominations pathed through STA 307 (Segment 307 BH) may be required as early as Timely Cycle for Gas Day of Thursday, July 14, 2022 and until further notice. Previously scheduled volumes will not be curtailed for the current gas day of July 13, 2022; however, increases pathed through STA 307 (Segment 307 BH) for the remainder of today's gas day are at risk.
Tennessee apologizes for any inconvenience to its customers to the extent any service restrictions are required during this unplanned outage. Tennessee remains focused on returning to normal operating conditions on these segments. Tennessee will provide additional updates as more information becomes available.
