FORCE MAJEURE AT STA 315 UNIT 2A UPDATE #3

Pursuant to Article XII of the General Terms and Conditions of Tennessee's FERC Gas Tariff, Tennessee posted notice of an emergent repair issue at STA 315 Unit 2A near Wellsboro, PA (Notice Identifier #372456) on August 14, 2019 to be effective on August 15, 2019.  The emergent repair was escalated to a Force Majeure effective August 31, 2019.  The issue was due to a manufacturer parts recall requiring the unit to be offline until parts could be replaced and repairs completed.

Parts have been secured from the manufacturer and repairs are in progress in the field.  Based on current estimates, a return to service is anticipated to be as early as Saturday, September 7, 2019.  However, Primary In the Path (“PIP”) nominations continue to remain at risk through STA 315 (Segment 315 BH) until the unit is back online and operations in the area are stabilized.
