IMBALANCE WARNING ZONES L, 1, 2 AND 3 EXPANDED TO INCLUDE ZONES 5 AND 6 EFFECTIVE AUGUST 19, 2019

Tennessee Gas Pipeline, L.L.C. (“TGP”) has limited operational flexibility to manage imbalances in Zones L, 1, 2, 3, 5 and 6.  Effective for the Gas Day of Monday, August 19, 2019, Tennessee is expanding the existing Imbalance Warning to also include all of Zones 5 and 6 due to higher demand on the pipeline as well as ongoing scheduled maintenance in various areas.  TGP requires all Balancing Parties (including LMS-PA, SA contracts acting as balancing parties, LMS-MA and LMS-PL) to keep actual daily takes out of the system equal to or less than scheduled quantities regardless of their cumulative imbalance position. All receipt point operators are required to keep actual daily receipts into the system equal to or greater than scheduled quantities regardless of their cumulative imbalance position.  In addition, it is essential that delivery point operators and receipt point operators schedule gas at meters commensurate with receipts out of the system or deliveries into the system.

Tennessee requires your compliance with this notice to avoid the necessity of taking further actions including utilizing contract or meter specific Operational Flow Orders or flow control to maintain operational integrity. As a reminder, penalties for non-compliance of an OFO can range from $.2198 per dth to $15.00 plus the highest regional spot price per dth.

Additionally, Tennessee would like to remind all operators/agents of power plants directly connected to TGP of certain parameters of FERC Order 698 requirements.  TGP requires that all power plant operators submit burn profiles and nominations prior to gas flow.  The burn profiles should be sent to TGPGasControl@Kindermorgan.comThe latest burn profile template can be found by accessing the TGP web site and following the steps below.
