IMBALANCE WARNING DOWNSTREAM OF STA 245 AND MLV 336 EFFECTIVE 12-8-17
Due to anticipated colder temperatures in the Northeast and increased demand, Tennessee Gas Pipeline, L.L.C. (“TGP”) has limited operational flexibility to manage imbalances on the 200 line downstream of Station 245 and on the 300 line downstream of MLV 336.
Effective Chart Time (9:00 AM CCT) for the Gas Day of Friday, December 8, 2017 and until further notice, TGP requires all delivery point operators downstream of Station 245 on the 200 line and downstream of MLV 336 on the 300 line to keep actual daily takes out of the system equal to or less than scheduled quantities regardless of their cumulative imbalance position. All receipt point operators downstream of Station 245 on the 200 line and downstream of MLV 336 on the 300 line are required to keep actual daily receipts into the system equal to or greater than scheduled quantities regardless of their cumulative imbalance position. In addition, it is essential that delivery point operators and receipt point operators schedule gas at meters commensurate with receipts out of the system or deliveries into the system.
Tennessee requires your compliance with this notice to avoid the necessity of taking further actions including utilizing contract, meter specific or Hourly Operational Flow Orders to maintain operational integrity. As a reminder, penalties for non-compliance of an OFO can range from $.2198 per dth to $15.00 plus the highest regional spot price per dth.
Additionally, Tennessee would like to remind all operators/agents of power plants directly connected to TGP of certain parameters of FERC Order 698 requirements. TGP requires that all power plant operators submit burn profiles and nominations prior to gas flow. The burn profiles should be sent to TGPGasControl@Kindermorgan.com. The latest burn profile template can be found by accessing the TGP web site and following the steps below.
