FORCE MAJEURE AT STA 264 UNIT 2C (SEGMENTS 261, 265, 266 FH) – UPDATE #2
Tennessee Gas Pipeline Company, LLC (TGP) declared a Force Majeure event at Station 264 Unit 2C near Charlton, MA on December 2, 2016, Notice Identifier 361645, as defined in TGP's FERC Gas Tariff, General Terms and Conditions, Article XII. The unit has been disassembled and has been shipped off site for repairs. TGP is in the process of formulating options for the most expedient repair plan. Based on current information, TGP still estimates it may take approximately 10 days from December 2nd to restore the unit to service. Based on TGP's inspection of the Unit 2C following disassembly, TGP has determined that it will be necessary to inspect the filter/separator at the station, which will require a complete shut-down of Station 264. TGP plans to shut-down Station 264 on December 8, 2016 and expects the Station to be down for the entire gas day. TGP expects to have Station 264 back in service (without Unit 2C) for Gas Day December 9, 2016. TGP estimates the impact to be up to 375,000 Dths for the Gas Day of December 8, 2016, or 75,000 Dths more than the original estimate of 300,000 Dths from the December 2 force majeure posting. Based on current nominations, Secondary In the Path nominations through Segments 261, 265 and 266 remain at risk.
