IMBALANCE WARNING EFFECTIVE TUESDAY, MAY 26, 2014 FOR ZONES 5 & 6 ON THE 200 LINE DOWNSTREAM OF STA. 245
Due to forecasted weather and anticipated increased demand along with scheduled maintenance, Tennessee Gas Pipeline (TGP) has limited operational flexibility to manage imbalances on the 200 line downstream of Station 245.
Effective chart time for Tuesday, May 26, 2015 TGP requires all 200 line delivery point operators downstream of Station 245 to keep actual daily takes out of the system equal to or less than scheduled quantities regardless of their cumulative imbalance position. All 200 line receipt point operators downstream of Station 245 are required to keep actual daily receipts into the system equal to or greater than scheduled quantities regardless of their cumulative imbalance position.
Tennessee requires your compliance with this notice to avoid the necessity of taking further actions including utilizing contract or meter specific Operational Flow Orders to maintain operational integrity. As a reminder, penalties for non-compliance of an OFO can range from $.2198 per dth to $15.00 plus the highest regional spot price per dth.
Additionally, Tennessee would like to remind all operators/agents of
power plants directly connected to TGP of certain parameters of FERC Order 698 requirements. TGP requires that all power plant operators submit burn profiles and nominations prior to gas flow. The burn profiles should be sent to TGPGasControl@Kindermorgan.com. The latest burn profile template
can be found by accessing the TGP web site and following the
steps below.
