RE: ANCHOR SHIPPER DEADLINE FOR OPEN SEASON FOR NORTHEAST ENERGY DIRECT PROJECT (OPEN SEASON #900)
Tennessee Gas Pipeline Company, L.L.C. (“Tennessee”) held a non-binding open season for the Northeast Energy Direct Project (“NED Project”) from February 13, 2014 to March 28, 2014. In a revision to the Open Season Notice posted on March 17, 2014, Tennessee stated that it would offer Anchor Shipper status to any party executing a precedent agreement by May 15, 2014. On May 15, 2014, Tennessee provided notice that it was suspending the May 15, 2014 deadline, and would provide no less than 15 days advance notice of the deadline for executing a binding precedent agreement to obtain Anchor Shipper status.
By this posting, consistent with the May 15, 2014 notice, Tennessee establishes the deadline for obtaining Anchor Shipper status for the Northeast Energy Direct Project – Path 1 or Market Path (Wright, NY to New England) as February 13, 2015. Anchor Shipper status will be offered to any party executing a binding precedent agreement for the Market Path by February 13, 2015.
Tennessee is currently in late stage negotiations with parties on Path 2 or Supply Path (Line 300 – Bradford and Susquehanna counties, PA to Wright), and more information will be forthcoming on Anchor Shipper status for this path.
Tennessee will continue to negotiate with potential shippers on the Market Path that are unable to transact by the deadline for Anchor Shipper status but will not offer Anchor Shipper Status after February 13, 2015. Any party interested in capacity on the NED Project (Market Path, Supply Path, or both), even those that may not have participated in the Open Season, are encouraged to contact Becky Mack or Curtis Cole for more information.
