RE:         RESULTS OF OPEN SEASON FOR NORTHEAST EXPANSION PROJECT
(OPEN SEASON #900)

Tennessee Gas Pipeline Company, L.L.C. (“Tennessee”) held a non-binding open season for the Northeast Expansion Project from February 13, 2014 to March 28, 2014.  During the Open Season, Tennessee received executed Service Request Forms (“SRF”) reflecting significant interest in its Northeast Expansion Project, including requests for firm transportation from Tennessee's 300 Line in Pennsylvania to an interconnect with the 200 Line at Wright, New York as well as requests for transportation from Wright, New York to Dracut, Massachusetts.  The transportation capacity will include the addition of pipeline looping as well as new greenfield pipeline facilities.  Tennessee received SRFs from both producers as well as local distribution companies desiring to serve the domestic markets throughout New England.  A critical component of Tennessee's plan to bring much needed transportation to New England is its active participation in the adjudicatory proceeding established by the Maine Public Utilities Commission to consider the appropriate parameters of a precedent agreement that may be executed by either the State of Maine or one its regulated transmission or distribution utilities pursuant to the Maine Energy Cost Reduction Act, recently enacted legislation to support development of new pipeline infrastructure into the ISO-New England region.  SRF's were also received by Tennessee from entities serving markets in Atlantic Canada.  The projected in-service date is November 1, 2018.

As indicated in the Open Season, Tennessee is continuing to engage actively with the participants in the Open Season, as well as other interested parties, to negotiate binding precedent agreements.  In accordance with the Open Season, Anchor Shipper status is being offered to parties that execute binding precedent agreements by May 15, 2014.  Non-anchor shipper precedent agreements will also be developed in the event a party is unable to transact by the May 15, 2014.  Any party interested in capacity on the Project, even those that may not have participated in the Open Season, are encouraged to contact Becky Mack or Curtis Cole for more information.
