DART Disaster Recovery Test

Kinder Morgan will be conducting a disaster recovery test for http://pipeline.kindermorgan.com beginning Saturday, May 13, 12:00 AM and ending Thursday, May 18, 6:00 AM. While this test is underway, you should continue to access our site via http://pipeline.kindermorgan.com.

Note that your access to the Customer Activities section of the website might be interrupted during the test period if your firewall is not configured for our disaster recovery area. During this test Dart access will be through our Colorado Springs IP addresses. All customers are encouraged to verify that their firewalls are configured to allow access as described on the "iDART Firewall Rules" page under the "Help & Information" section of our site at http://pipeportal.kindermorgan.com/PortalUI/HelpInfo.aspx. This will ensure that your firewall is properly configured for both our normal production and failover areas so in the event we have an actual outage of our production area, your access will be uninterrupted. For your convenience the IP addresses for Houston and Colorado Springs are listed below.

Access to the public areas of http://pipeline.kindermorgan.com does not require these firewall rules.

Note that as part of this test, access to Customer Activities will temporarily be suspended while we switch to our Secondary Data Center on Saturday, May 13, between the hours of 12:00 AM CCT thru 6:00 AM CCT. Then again on Thursday, May 18, between the hours of 12:00 AM CCT thru 6:00 AM CCT when we switch back to the Primary Data Center at which point the test will be concluded.

For questions concerning firewall configuration please contact Skip Stallings at 713-369-9067. For general questions concerning the DR exercise please contact Wade Callen at 713-369-9366.
