As SNG previously posted on August 23, 2019 on posting 703641, a portion of SNG's South Section 28 line in Segment 340 is out of service due to damage to the line that will need to be replaced. SNG has updated its replacement plan since the last posting. The replacement work will start in September 2019 and be completed in early December 2019, providing that the water levels do not rise. In order to complete this work, SNG will be required to take an additional section out of service from September 30, 2019 to early December. As a result of taking out the additional section, please see below for an update to nominations from Receipt PIN's.
This unplanned replacement constitutes an event of Force Majeure under Section 8.3 of the General Terms and Conditions of SNG's FERC Gas Tariff until further notice.
Updated Effect on Receipt Points:
1. During this outage, SNG will not be able to accept nominations at the following locations:
· Receipt or Delivery nominations at PIN #607000, BOARDWST/SMG Petrologistics Iberville
· Receipt nominations from PIN 605200, SABPL/SNG Sabine Vermillion
· 631900----Whiskey/SNGUDP Lake Larose Iberia
· 632400----HEC/SNG UDP Bayou Crook Chene Saint.
2. For those Receipt PINs on the South Section 28 line to the west of the replacement location, SNG can accept receipt nominations from the following locations provided that shippers nominate delivery of such gas supply to the Sabine interconnect with SNG (PIN #605200) and Sabine confirms such nomination:
· 633200----TERMO/SNG UDP Section 28-Amoco St.
· 605300----SEA ROBIN/SNG Erath Vermillion
For the duration of the outage, this section of the South Section 28 line will be isolated from SNG's contiguous system and designated as an off system point, and, accordingly, no fuel will be assessed on such receipt nominations pursuant to the terms of SNG's Tariff. SNG will also agree to provide, during the outage, any eligible shipper with an IT discount equal to the minimum Tariff rate delivered to the Sabine interconnect with SNG (PIN #605200) on nominations from the affected receipt points, but, in order for SNG to account for the discount and properly document such, the affected Shipper must contact Walter Coe at 205-325-3708 and get the necessary paperwork completed for the discount to be placed into effect. Shippers will be responsible for ensuring transportation arrangements are secured for their gas supply downstream of the delivery to the Sabine interconnect.
If you have any questions concerning this notice or nominations during the outage period, please contact your Scheduling Representative or Account Manager. SNG is working diligently to return this line to full service as soon as possible and will provide another update prior to the start of construction, estimated to be September 30, 2019.
