Southern will evaluate system conditions and supply nominations very closely for each cycle. If Southern determines that adverse changes have occurred in system conditions and/or one of the scheduling cycles, Southern' s Tariff provides that a Type 6 OFO can be implemented on four hours' notice or less depending on the situation.

Southern requests that all Shippers/Poolers monitor the balance between actual receipts and deliveries to ensure that an out-of-balance situation does not occur. As you are aware, both long and short out-of-balance situations can threaten the operational integrity of the system.
