SEGMENT 13 – AMARILLO #3 M/L - ILI TOOL RUNS
As posted on Natural's Outage Impact Report (X22-976586) and as part of Natural's ongoing pipeline Integrity Management Program, Natural will be performing a series of ILI Tool Runs between Compressor Station 108 (CS 108) located in Warren County, Iowa and Compressor Station 109 (CS 109) located in Keokuk County, Iowa (Segment 13 of Natural's Amarillo Zone). This work will require Natural to reduce its operating capacity northbound through CS 108 for the duration of the ILI Tool Runs. Deliveries to the MidAmerican CDP (LOC 10568) will be impacted during the restriction.
The scheduling constraint will be at CS 108; therefore, any gas received south of CS 108 for delivery north of CS 108 will be impacted for the duration of this restriction. For scheduling purposes, the Amarillo Mainline Pool (LOC 10566) is located south of the constraint. Additionally, firm transportation associated with storage injections or withdrawals may be impacted.
As such, effective on the gas days indicated below, Natural will schedule Primary Firm and Secondary in-path Firm transports to no less than 38% of contract MDQ northbound through CS 108. AOR/ITS and Secondary out-of-path Firm transports will not be available for the duration of the restriction.
TOOL RUN DATES:
Gas day Tuesday, May 16, 2023 (Cleaning/Gauge Tools)
Gas day Thursday, May 18, 2023 (Cleaning Tool)
Gas day Tuesday, May 23, 2023 (MFL/Caliper Tools)
The stated scheduling percentage is based upon the current level of firm capacity contracted for during this outage and is subject to change based upon operational conditions and Shipper utilization. Once the data from the tool run have been analyzed, any remediation work impacting shippers will be posted.
Continue to monitor Natural's interactive website for any updates to the end date and/or scheduling percentage during this restriction. Please contact your Account Director or Scheduling Representative if you have any questions.
