FORCE MAJEURE – COMPRESSOR STATION 801 – UPDATE #4
As repairs continue, some of the compressor facilities have been returned to service, thus, increasing the scheduling percentage as noted below. This notice was last posted on August 31, 2022, entitled “FORCE MAJEURE – COMPRESSOR STATION 801 – UPDATE #3”.
Natural experienced horsepower issues at Compressor Station 801 located in Carter County, Oklahoma (CS 801), in Segment 15 of Natural's Texok A/G Zone, resulting in a need to make emergent repairs. This is a Force Majeure event that required Natural to temporarily reduce the maximum operating capacity eastbound through CS 801 during this restriction.
The scheduling constraint will be at CS 801; therefore, any gas received west of CS 801 for delivery east of CS 801 will be impacted. The Midcontinent Pool (PIN 25078) is located west (upstream) of the constraint. Additionally, transports associated with storage injections or withdrawals will be impacted.
As such, effective for gas day Tuesday, September 20, 2022, Timely Cycle, and continuing until further notice, Natural will schedule Primary Firm and Secondary in-path Firm transports to no less than 57% of contract MDQ through CS 801 (previously 0% of contract MDQ). AOR/ITS and Secondary out-of-path Firm transports are not available during this event.
Actual nomination levels and changes in pipeline conditions could result in changes to the percentage scheduled (lower or higher) on subsequent gas days. The stated scheduling percentage is based upon the current level of firm capacity contracted for during this outage and is subject to change based upon operational conditions and Shipper utilization.
Continue to monitor Natural's interactive website for any updates during this restriction. Please contact your Account Director or Scheduling Representative if you have any questions.
