FORCE MAJEURE - SEGMENT 26 SOUTHBOUND – GC #1 M/L (CS 304/303) - REMEDIATION
As posted on Natural's Outage Impact Report (X22-690105) and based on the final graded results received from a previous ILI Tool run - EMAT, Natural is required to perform pipeline remediation work on the Gulf Coast #1 mainline between Compressor Station 303 (CS 303) in Angelina County, Texas and Compressor Station 304 (CS 304) in Harrison County, Texas (Segment 26 of Natural's Texok Zone). This is a force majeure event. This remediation work requires an immediate pressure restriction, thus limiting Natural's throughput capacity southbound through CS 303.
The transport scheduling constraint is at CS 303; therefore, any gas received north of CS 303 for delivery south of CS 303 will be impacted for the duration of the restriction. Additionally, firm transportation associated with storage injections or withdrawals may be impacted. For scheduling purposes, the Texok Pool (LOC 10560) is located north of the constraint.
As such, effective for gas day Thursday, July 21, 2022, Timely Cycle, and anticipated to continue through gas day Tuesday, July 26, 2022, Natural will schedule Primary Firm and Secondary in-path Firm transports to no less than 95% of contract MDQ through CS 303. AOR/ITS and Secondary out-of-path Firm transports will not be available for the duration of this restriction.
Actual nomination levels and changes in pipeline conditions could result in changes to the percentage scheduled (lower or higher) on subsequent gas days. The stated scheduling percentage is based upon the current level of firm capacity contracted for during this outage and is subject to change based upon operational conditions and Shipper utilization.
Continue to monitor Natural's interactive website for any updates during this restriction. Please contact your Account Director or Scheduling Representative if you have any questions.
