FORCE MAJEURE – SEGMENT 10 – LOC 3251 EPNG MOORE – UPDATE 2
The Segment 8 scheduling constraint location has been changed, as noted below. This notice was last posted on June 27, 2022, entitled “FORCE MAJEURE – SEGMENT 10 – LOC 3251 EPNG MOORE – UPDATE 1”.
Natural will be performing remediation work on the Amarillo #4 mainline south of Compressor Station 102 located in Beaver County, Oklahoma (Segment 10 of Natural's Midcontinent Zone). Natural is required to shut-in LOC 3251 EPNG Moore for the duration of this outage. This is a Force Majeure event.
Additionally, throughput capacity out of Segment 8 for northbound flow into Segment 10 will now impact the remediation efforts and require Natural to reduce the maximum operating capacity out of Segment 8 thus limiting Natural's capacity during this force majeure event.
As such, effective for gas day Wednesday, July 6, 2022, Timely Cycle, and continuing through gas day Monday, July 11, 2022, no transport services will be available at LOC 3251 EPNG Moore. In addition, the Segment 8 scheduling constraint will be at the Permian Zone Border Moore (previously Compressor Station 167); therefore, any gas received south of the Permian Zone Border Moore for delivery north of the Permian Zone Border Moore will be impacted. The Pooling Point – Permian Zone (LOC 25082) is located south of the constraint. Firm transportation associated with storage withdrawals may be impacted. Natural will schedule Primary Firm and Secondary in-path Firm transports to no less than 72% of contract MDQ through the Permian Zone Border Moore. Actual nomination levels and changes in pipeline conditions could result in changes to the percentage scheduled (lower or higher) on subsequent gas days. AOR/ITS and Secondary out-of-path Firm transports will not be available for the duration of this restriction.
Continue to monitor Natural's interactive website for any updates during this restriction. Please contact your Account Director or Scheduling Representative if you have any questions.
