SOC Lifted, SOC Warning Issued – System Wide DRAFT Condition
The EPNG system linepack recovered overnight to start Gas Day July 30, 2020 at 7,835 MMcf. The Strained Operating Condition (“SOC”) for a Draft condition issued on July 28, 2020 (Reference critical notice no: 609203, 609213) will be lifted effective Gas Day July 30, 2020. As such the SOC was in effect for Gas Day July 28, 2020 and Gas Day July 29, 2020 only.
However, EPNG remains concerned about the above average heat in the Desert Southwest the remainder of this week and this weekend and will remain in an SOC warning. Delivery point operators are encouraged to review their transport to ensure that their takes are in balance with their supplies and to ensure their scheduled supplies are performing as expected. Drafting of the system will hinder our ability to maintain adequate linepack and EPNG will declare a Location Specific SOC on those delivery point operators who continue to draft the system.
Washington Ranch is fully available for withdrawal.
