Colorado Interstate Gas Company, L.L.C. (CIG)
February 15, 2019
Cold Weather Alert
With significantly colder temperatures being forecast beginning Saturday, February 16, 2019 and lasting through the following week, CIG is anticipating an increase in demand on its system which will limit its ability to manage imbalances associated with supply shortfalls. Therefore, when necessary to minimize imbalances and protect system integrity, underperformance caps may be placed on nonperforming receipt points effective immediately and lasting until further notice. In addition the following actions will be taken:
1. NNT overrun withdrawal requests will be allocated to 100,000 Dth (see CIG notice #118466).
2. Interruptible storage withdrawals will be taken to zero (0 Dth) (see CIG notice #118466).
3. Payback OFF the CIG system will not be accepted; payback ONTO the system will be approved, absent other capacity concerns. Interruptible services may be at risk.
Please monitor the weather forecast to assist you in matching supply nominations to the anticipated demand.
