Operational Sales Notification and Request for Bids

Colorado Interstate Gas, L.L.C. (CIG), in accordance with Section 28 of its FERC Gas Tariff, is soliciting bids for the purchase of 251,100 dekatherms (Dth) of excess gas quantities on its system.  This sale is necessary to properly manage quantities of gas received because of  cash-out and manage system linepack.

Based on anticipated operating conditions and the need to manage overall linepack, CIG expects to have gas quantities available for sale on its system during the month of December 2017, and is soliciting interest from non-affiliated third parties to purchase some or all of this excess gas.  CIG will consider fixed-price and fixed-volume bids with ratable flows for the purchase of the excess gas.  Evaluations will be made based upon the highest bid (per Dth), in accordance with Section 9.12(d) of the General Terms and Conditions of CIG's Tariff, and the ability of CIG to meet the delivery requirements of the bid as determined by CIG in its operational discretion.  The successful purchaser(s) will be required to transport the acquired gas from the point(s) of custody transfer. Points of custody transfer to include Forgan, Big Blue and the Denver-Julesburg basin.

Prior to bidding on the purchase of any gas quantities from CIG, the bidder(s) must have entered into a North American Energy Standards Board Base Contract for Sale and Purchase of Natural Gas (NAESB Contract) with CIG and must satisfy CIG's credit requirements.  CIG is under no obligation to accept any special provisions to the NAESB Contract and any expression of interest which contains special provisions may be deemed by CIG to be non-responsive.  CIG reserves the right to reject any and all bids.

Bids should indicate total and daily quantities, price per Dth, dates of delivery, and requested location(s) of custody transfer.  Please submit bids via email to kmwestbids@kindermorgan.com and identify the communication as an Operational Sales Bid by 11:00 AM (MCT) on Thursday, June 22, 2017.  Successful bidders will be notified as soon as practicable but no later than 11:30 AM (MCT) on June 22, 2017.
