Storage Field Maintenance
The four mainline Storage Fields utilized by Colorado Interstate Gas Company L.L.C. (CIG) to provide Storage Services will undergo scheduled maintenance (fall season bottom hole reservoir integrity testing) from September 29 through October 22, 2015. As explained below, the operational limitations related to field outages will impact the injection rights of CIG's firm shippers. Also, during this period, CIG will be unable to schedule any interruptible storage injections.
The week that maintenance is scheduled for each field is listed below. Each field's maximum injection capability is shown as well as the field's related percentage of total injections available. During maintenance, no physical injections will be possible into the affected field. Further, during the week of the Ft. Morgan outage, injections under the High Available Daily Injection Quantity (High ADIQ) option will not be supported.
Field Max Inject. Percent Total Inj. Outage
Mcf/d Inj. Total Available Scheduled
Mcf/d
Boehm 60,000 22.2 210,000 September 29 through October 6
Ft. Morgan 100,000 37.1 170,000 October 6 through October 13
Flank 50,000 18.5 220,000 See Note below
Latigo 60,000 22.2 210,000 October 15 through October 22
Total 270,000 100.0
Note: CIG's Flank Storage Field will be tested separately starting October 6 through October 21. The impact to injection capability will be minimal, and no reductions to customers' firm injection rights will be made during the Flank test.
During the outages in Ft. Morgan, Latigo, and Boehm fields, pursuant to Sections 1.2 and 11.6 of the General Terms and Conditions of CIG's FERC Gas Tariff, Second Revised Volume No. 1, the normal injection rights for firm storage shippers will be reduced by the percentages indicated above. For example, during the Ft. Morgan maintenance, storage shippers will be limited to 62.9% (100 - 37.1) of the Standard ADIQ.
Other Impacts on Shippers:
Shippers are asked to manage flowing supplies to keep injections within these adjusted limits. If small injection overruns occur, they will be based on the adjusted limits and will be authorized for NNT customers only. However, if operational concerns arise because of higher levels of overrun injections, a Strained Operating Condition (SOC) may need to be implemented, and overruns will not be authorized.
